The amount won after each successful response is nearly doubled from the previous amount won, increasing exponentially until the competitor reaches the final question, after which they get the maximum prize (1 crore).

Lifelines

When a contestant is unsure which response is accurate, he or she can utilise a lifeline. You can only use a lifeline once.

Audience Poll: If the contestant utilises this lifeline, the host will ask the audience to repeat the question. The audience in the studio has 10 seconds to respond to the question. Members of the audience utilise touch pads to indicate what they believe is the correct answer.

The results are given to the contestant in percentages in bar-graph style, as well as on the monitors displays of the host and contestant, as well as the TV viewers, once the audience has made their choices.
If a contestant uses this lifeline, he or she is allowed to call one of three pre-arranged friends, all of whom must supply their phone numbers in advance.
The emcee typically begins by speaking with the contestant’s friend and introducing him or her to the audience. Following the introduction, the host delivers the phone to the contestant, who has 30 seconds to pose a question and wait for a response from their friend.

If the competitor takes this lifeline, the host will instruct the computer to remove and eliminate two of the contestants at random. The contestant can use this lifeline to make two guesses at a question. If both answers are incorrect, the contestant’s prizes will be reduced to the last milestone reached. This lifeline varies from others in that once the player has elected to use it, he or she must answer the question and cannot leave the question or use any other lifelines.

Code Red: The lifeline, which allows the contestant’s family members to alert him or her if they believe the answer is incorrect.
