Actor Arvind Trivedi, well known for his role as Raavan in the Ramayan, died of a heart attack on Tuesday night.Sunil Lahiri, Arvind’s Ramayan co-star, posted a photo of the late actor on Instagram early Wednesday, writing, “Bahut dukhad Samachar hai ki Hamare Sabke Pyare Arvind bhai (Ravan of Ramayan) Ab Hamare bich Nahin Rahe Bhagwan Unki Atma ko Shanti De (This is extremely sad news. Arvind Bhai, our beloved friend, is no longer with us. May God provide him peace in his heart). I’m dumbfounded; I’ve lost my guide, well-wisher, and gentleman.”
According to an ABP report, the actor was ill and unable to move. It reported Kaustubh Trivedi, Arvind’s nephew, as stating, “Uncle was unstoppable.”For the past few years, I’ve been ill. Over the last three years, things have only gotten worse.
He had a heart attack at 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday. He died at his Mumbai home in Kandivali.” He further stated that Arvind’s final rites will take place on Wednesday at 8 a.m.
